Mission Statement

To preserve and promote our rich Irish cultural heritage in song, dance, literature, sports, and traditions.  To provide a forum for the enrichment of our family and the enhancement of our friendships.

Friday Fish Fries Are Back!

Friday Fish Fries have returned from now until March 25.  Serving from 5:00 to 7:30 pm featuring baked and beer battered fish, breaded shrimp, stuffed flounder, fish sandwiches, fresh mussels, clam chowder and a non-meat special dinner every week until Easter.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Irelandís largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 57 years in 2016. The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry, Ireland for a global celebration of Irish culture. The festival also includes street entertainment, carnival, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and internationally renowned Rose Parade.

Bicycles Needed

The Telephone Pioneer’s Recyclist Program takes in bicycles of any size (however 20” bikes are especially needed) they repair, paint and renovates them. The team then uses these refurbished bikes as rewards for children by giving them a chance to win a bike if they do well in school and meet the standards set for attendance, grades and citizenship. The program also provide the opportunity for students to receive hands on instructions on how to maintain their bicycles from the team.

Please help encourage children to do well in school and to see that there are rewards for doing well. Please donate a bike or two. You can drop off bikes at the Club or call Josephine Caffrey at 440-333-4992 to arrange to have them picked up at your home or for more information. Jim Caffrey was in charge of this project and it was very close to his heart. His wife, Josephine is going to continue it. When your cleaning out your garage and have a bike you no longer need do a good deed and call Jo.
