THE TRIM-A-TREE STORY starts with all the tree branches having to be fluffed up by the “fluffer” girls, L to R: Cathy Franzinger,
Nancy Csorey, Rose Ann Franzinger, Kay Bowman, Mary Ellen Grealis & Nancy Sheehan. The Angle & Top section of the tree were
put on next, followed by T. Regis Cooney & Doreen Dever Papjcik adding branches and lights from the bottom up. The follow were
also present to help decorate with the ornaments and all the other decorations throughout the club: Carol & Steven Andrews,
Dawn Andrews, Dick Bowman, Leo Fox, Carol Ann Kennedy, Maureen Lavelle, Sara McLaughlin, Mary Ann McNella, Eamon, Lillian,
Maria and Mark Owens, Peggy Patton, Mary Ryan. Before all this happened the decorations had to be brought out of storage by:
John Clark, Chris Flowers, Jack Flynn, Shawn Lowery & John O’Brien. Pat Campbell & Kevin O’Malley stopped at the Club one day
and helped hang the Big wreath over the fireplace and replace lights in the Pub. That same day the bows were fluffed and put on
the wreaths and all the small wreaths were put up. This work was done by Maureen McGinty Cseh, Mary Catherine Falle, Cathy
Lally, & Maureen Lavelle. I am VERY THANKFUL for all the help these volunteers gave me in getting our Annual Trim-A-Tree Party
to be a success again this year. I have enjoyed doing this for over 12 years and hope to be able to help the new Decorating Chairpersons
when they take over for me. Doreen Dever Papjcik and T. Regis Cooney will hopefully be those chairpersons.
