June 2012: Bulletin News highlights

FACILITY UPGRADES

Restrooms coming to our Pavilion!
Two new restrooms are being installed in the
pavilion. The Ladies Room will have two flush
toilets, and the Men’s restroom will have one
flush toilet and one urinal. This will be a very
welcome addition to our summer activities.
Completion is expected in June.

 

FOREVER YOUNG

Everyone enjoyed the gardening tips presented at
the May meeting by Noel, the Petitti Garden Center
representative. Lucky members won some of the
beautiful plants donated by Petitti.
Nominations for officers for the upcoming year
were held. All of the officers were unanimously reelected
for another term.
Our annual Mass for the deceased members of
Forever Young will be celebrated at our June 13th
meeting. Father Cornelius Murray will be the
celebrant
Our annual picnic will be held on August 8th, more
details next month

Ridgeview Farms, Nov.28th; or Living Christmas
Tree, Dec.9th.

25 CARD GAME

The Club’s annual “25” card game was held on April 15, 2012. It was well attended.  The Winners were Marty Joe Kilbane and Tom McGowarn.  A big Thank You to all who baked and volunteered.  We were happy to have Kathleen O’Grady back among us, as an active player, after a prolonged illness.

CEILI DANCING

Ceili Dancing has been discontinued for the summer.
Dates for new classes will be listed in August Bulletin.
